This is the reproduction of the original illustration of an Great Blue Heron, produced as part of a collection of colour-plates titled The Birds of America, by John James Audubon 1785 - 1851. This piece has been perfectly preserved with over 100 years of wear-and-tear captured to add to it’s character.The artwork has been printed onto Airtex canvas, with its brilliant colours and accurate detail carefully restored.

Hand-mounted with aged timber batons and 100% hemp rope, each piece is supplied ready to hang.
